How to Set Up Your Profile

Our mission is to facilitate authentic and meaningful in-person experiences, so we recommend putting thought into setting up your profile.

Choose Your Nickname

Your Nickname is your username. Your full name will not be visible to others until the connection with another user is made, thus your nickname can speak volumes and will be part of that first impression for others.

Pick a nickname that is representative of who you are, in a good way. This can be updated anytime.

Privacy Note: Your email, phone, and location will always remain private and not visible to other users.

Add Your Main Photo

Use a clear, high-quality headshot without filters or editing. Your photo should be:

• Recent and representative of your current look
• Showing your typical hairstyle
• Clear and well-lit
• A genuine representation of you

The main photo can be changed at any time.

Add Additional Photos

Click on your main photo to add more pictures. Use additional photos to showcase your interests:

• Activities you do regularly
• Favorite places you visit
• Hobbies and passions

Tip: Highlight activities that you do on a regular basis, not something you have done once and perhaps only for the photo.

Write Your Bio

Click on your main photo to tell something about yourself. This can be anything you would normally share about yourself at a first introduction:

• Your goals and likes
• What makes you unique
• What you’re looking for in connections

Stay positive in your bio. It may be too soon to disclose mishaps and unfortunate experiences.

Select Your Interests

Click on your main photo to select interests. While connecting based on specific interests is important and can bring meaningful connections, we encourage you to also be open-minded to connect with people outside your interest criteria.

Keeping the interest setting open will help you see more invites and outing options. Sometimes you never know how trying a new activity will inspire you.
